Ponderosa Aero Club, Inc., established in 1974, is a renowned flight school and flying club based at the Boise Air Terminal/Gowen Field in Boise, Idaho. With a stellar safety record and a large fleet of well-maintained aircraft, including Cessna 172s and Piper Archers, the club offers comprehensive training programs for private pilot, instrument, commercial, and flight instructor certifications. Additionally, Ponderosa Aero Club is known for its popular backcountry training course.
