Okeechobee County Airport, located 3 miles northwest of Okeechobee, Florida, is a renowned general aviation airport with a rich history dating back to 1940. Originally known as Conners Field, it was leased by the United States Army Air Corps during World War II for auxiliary training, particularly for B-17 Flying Fortress pilots. After the war, the airport returned to civil use and has since been a hub for general aviation. Our flying school at Okeechobee County Airport offers comprehensive "ab initio" training, specializing in commercial, airline, and private pilot certifications. With a 5,000-foot asphalt runway and excellent facilities, our students benefit from a safe and professional learning environment.
