Emirates recently revealed exciting news for travelers heading to Vienna from Dubai International Airport, as they plan to introduce their revamped B777 aircraft on flights beginning January 3, 2025. This move marks a significant enhancement to the airline's European network, with Vienna becoming the fourth city to welcome these upgraded Boeing 777 planes.

“We're deploying our retrofitted Boeing 777 on flights to Vienna starting from 3 January, making it the fourth city in our European network to receive the new aircraft,” shared an Emirates spokesperson.

Travelers on the outbound flight EK125 can expect departure from Dubai at 15:40 local time, arriving in Vienna at 18:50 local time. The return journey on flight EK126 will take off from Vienna at 21:45 local time and touch down in Dubai at 06:25 local time the following day.

The revamped B777 aircraft boasts an impressive configuration, featuring eight luxurious First Class suites, 40 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 24 spacious Premium Economy seats, and 256 Economy seats. Notably, the Premium Economy section offers 6-way adjustable headrests for enhanced comfort and ample personal space in a 2-4-2 seating arrangement.

Emirates, in the midst of their ambitious fleet retrofit project, has already introduced 10 upgraded Boeing 777 aircraft into service. These planes are presently servicing select routes, including those to Vienna. At present, Emirates operates two daily flights to Austria, utilizing a mix of Boeing 777s and A380s, facilitating over 1,000 daily seats between Dubai and Vienna.

This strategic aircraft upgrade reflects Emirates’ commitment to providing its passengers with a superior travel experience and ensuring Vienna remains a key destination within its acclaimed European network. Travelers can anticipate a blend of luxury, comfort, and efficiency on these newly retrofitted flights.
