Alaska Airlines recently revealed a striking new livery design inspired by the Seattle Kraken just in time for the start of the 2024-2025 NHL season. This special livery features the iconic team logo and includes the coordinates of Climate Pledge Arena, paying homage to the beloved Seattle Kraken ice hockey team. The B737 MAX9 aircraft, with the tail number #N933AK, takes a nod to Seattle’s 93.3 KJR FM, the prominent local sports radio station and official home of the Kraken.

Exciting news for aviation and hockey enthusiasts alike, as Alaska Airlines confirmed that this themed aircraft will fly across its network throughout the 2024-2026 seasons. Eric Edge, Managing Director of Marketing and Advertising at Alaska Airlines, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “As the official airline of the Seattle Kraken, we’re thrilled to unveil this new design to honor our city’s NHL team. Whether soaring at 30,000 feet or on the ice, we'll be rooting for the Kraken this season!”

To build up anticipation for the NHL season, Alaska Airlines has introduced some engaging promotions for fans and customers to enjoy during the games. Among these promotions includes an offer where fans can enjoy 32% off Alaska Airlines flights to a mystery destination whenever the Seattle Kraken scores five goals during a home game. Additionally, passengers departing from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) or Everett Paine Field/Airport (PAE) wearing a Seattle Kraken jersey will receive priority boarding until the end of the hockey season.

The synergy between aviation and sports has never been more exciting, so buckle up and get ready to support the Seattle Kraken as they hit the ice this season! Stay tuned for more captivating updates on Pilotcenter.net News.
